We are living in the digital age! It is absolutely essential for your business or brand to have an online presence. You can’t even think of your life without Wi-Fi (internet) so how are you thinking that your business doesn’t need any internet presence?

It doesn’t matter whether it is a website, an e-commerce platform, a social media page or a combination of all three, getting your company online will reap major benefits. Even if your company does not have any online presence, customers and potential customers are expecting to see you online.

If they don’t see you online, you could be losing out on the chances to increase your customer base and get the word out about your business. Following are just a few of the many reasons why your business needs to establish its online presence

Help Your Potential Customers Come to You

We are living in the world, where information is just a fingertip away. If someone wants more information about your company, brand or business and you are not equipped with the online world, how will you grow? Even if you have a state-of-the-art infrastructure?

Potential customers will not put a lot of effort into finding you, and they should not have to. They will simply take out their mobile phone and google will provide the information they are seeking. Why don’t you bring out your own services?

Just as an example, your business distributes seafood, meats, fine wines, and other spirits. And you are doing it great, you have a number of satisfied customers, you provide the best quality in town and so much more. But on the other hand, you are also worried about the limited number of customers.

The best way to increase your business’s worth is to get online. The Internet has so much to offer in this world. It will provide you a large number of potential customers which will help you grow your business. So, you should have an internet presence.

Help You Showcase Your Products and Services

The internet gives the business an effective and impressive platform for showcasing what they have to offer. Whether it’s a portfolio and testimonials from clients on a website or an album on a Facebook page with photos of your newest products, it was never easy before to tell the world what you offer.

With just a few clicks, your customers can see what you’re all about. They can even learn about your business at midnight, even when you are sleeping! So, an online presence is an extension of your brand that never sleeps.

Help You to Build Strong Relationships with Customers

Relations, quite a common thing in the upcoming generation, but we will discuss the different kinds. Social media helps to bring new people to you. It is all about building relationships. This is true for both individuals and businesses.

Social networking gives your brand a voice – it makes your company more “human”. Customers and potential customers can interact with your brand on a more personal level. It also gives you the opportunity to truly get to know your customers.

If everyone is using social media except you, you are missing out on an invaluable opportunity to connect and communicate with your target audience. Social media is one simplest thing, yet a more effective way to get personal interest in your company and to form real relationships with real people.

Help You to Market Your Brand

Website and social media sites platforms are excellent marketing tools. They are also some of the most cost-effective methods of sending out information for thousands of people. Online marketing is extremely important for all businesses because it has a huge influence on the way consumers make purchasing decisions.

Modern customers have even indicated that they look at companies in a negative light if they cannot find them online. Using the world of the internet for marketing purposes allows you to overcome distance barriers. People living thousands of miles away from you can be learning all about your business with just a few keystrokes.

The sharing ability of social media allows your audience to easily spread the word about your business, brand, or products to all of their friends and family. In the end, online marketing gives you the opportunity to market your brand in creative and exciting ways.

Businesses of this age must ensure that they are not left behind. An online presence is one of the most important investment that business, brand or product can make.

The press release is basically a summary of important news related to your company. You’ll essentially write a press release and then send it to several news organizations or simply publish it on your company’s social media pages and website. In this way, they can be aware of what’s happening. If they’re interested, they will surely write about the news in their publications.

To be more specific, press releases are not normally written to fill some files. Instead, they catch the attention of the people who do write the news, so they can decide if they want to pursue the lead. Having this in mind, press releases tend to be a lot shorter than regular articles and focus on facts primarily.

So as for marketing, it is important to know when releases will benefit your public relations strategy and when it will not. There are many cases when press releases are still valuable to use, but there are even more wrong thoughts about them. As far as in this article, we are going to discuss exactly where the press releases rocks.

1. Picked Up By Other Publications

The main idea behind the press releases is to get your news in front of as many people as possible. Many companies see success by posting a press release to the wire, where it will be sent out to thousands of publications and ultimately reposted other places online.

The question arises, how do we really get some attention with this tactic? The solution to that is not so hard! First, we have found that when companies include data in their press releases, which of it will be picked up by the publications. But even more catchy way is to present your story with interesting soundbites.

According to the statistics, press releases are viewed on average about 275 times during the week by the general public. On the other side, the media views it about an average of 70 times during the week. The more people who are viewing your press release, the more likely, it will be picked up by other publications.

2. Help To Build More Links

One of the top benefits of press releases for your marketing strategy is link building. When you start sending out press releases, you’ll be sending them to a lot of different places such as magazines, PR directors, administrative assistants, and so on.

The best thing that you can do is before you start sending them, reach out and contact that person. Just do hello, hi, introduce yourself, and let them know that you’re going to be sending press releases their way and that you wanted to make sure they were to direct them toward.

As for the online world, normally an actual press releases do not necessarily help with SEO, the editorial coverage you get from PR will bring great benefits to your SEO. You should also make sure to include relevant keywords that you want to rank in your press releases so that when journalists see the release, they may include some of that keyword.

According to research, there is tremendous synergy between SEO and PR. The press release is a boon for SEO managers everywhere because remarkable actions spur people to create tends to spur content coverage. The coverage of your brand often also comes with inbound links back to your website. Which means you should not always depend upon the press releases.

3. Help Journalists Check Information

When you create PR, all of the information you want journalists to know about your company is in one place. Even external documents, presentations and research documents, are available in a press release. It makes really easy for journalists to find and accurately reference all of the information they ever need to write their story.

Even when you are connecting with a journalist by e-mail, and not just putting a press release on the wire in the hopes it will be picked up, including an attachment to a press release to help the journalists out. It makes writing about your brand insanely easy and establishes a good relationship that will help you get future press coverage.

4. Help To Refine Your Messaging

As you are putting your press release together, you need to make sure you have nailed the messaging for the announcement to get exposure. In other words, make sure your press release is able to convey all of the messages you want it to deliver.

It is the place everyone will go to get “the story” and cite important data points. When you have defined the messaging for all other content creators to draw upon. From bloggers to a sales representative, to external content creators, everyone will be speaking about your brand with a unified message that’s set forth during the drafting of your PR.

You have to make a logo for your business as serious as you take other expectations. Creating a logo might not seem like a top priority but, it should be!

There might be a voice whispering in the back of your mind that maybe you don’t even need a logo. Don’t listen to that voice; it couldn’t be more wrong. Your logo is an integral part of making your business a successful one – right up above all the mountains with high-quality products and positive referrals.

So, if you don’t know why a logo is important, then don’t worry, I covered almost everything in this blog you want to know.

Hold Attention

Consumers hardly give proper attention to anything nowadays. As things stand, companies or businesses only have two seconds to convince potential customers that their products are worth any consideration.

A logo can quickly grab viewers’ attention and communicate a company’s core values in an effective way. That short attention span causes consumers to judge your business to buy its appearance. It can work to your advantage if you have a solid logo to speak for your company.

Most of the views take less than three seconds to scan your complete inline presence and form their first impression. Afterward, it’s all on your logo.”

Generate Strong Impression

You have one opporunity to make a solid impression on your visitor. A logo is a company’s first introduction to consumers. If designed well, it can pique the interest of the public and invite them to learn more about the company. If not, you’ve just alienated a potential customer base and basically tanked your business.

This first impression is your way to immediately establish ownership over the products you sell. Your logo introduces your company as an authority in your profession.

Brand Identity

Successful branding is about telling a story that will influence customers’ emotions. And, while it’s true that logo design as the foundation for the entire narrative on which the brand is built.

Things like colors, tones, fonts are determined by the story you’re trying to tell, and your logo sets the stage for this story. These elements will later translate from your logo onto all of your branding materials such as letterheads, business cards, landing pages and are creating a concrete, marketable brand identity.

Memorable

Your logo leads the horse to water, in other words, your logo leads your audience towards your company.

Logos are a face of identification, they’re the symbol that customers use to recognize your brand. Ideally, you will always want people to instantly connect the sight of your logo with the memory of what your company does.

Because a good logo is a visually pleasing element, it triggers positive recall about your brand that the name of your company alone might not.

If we are all being honest, some of your audience will likely forget the name of your business but they surely wont forget the logo so easily. It is human nature, you’ll forget the text or saying but you’ll not forget any visual representation. Your client immediately associates your logo with their memories of your brand.

Makes You Different

Your logo can make you different from others because your company’s logo tells consumers why your business is unique. Sure, maybe there are 50 other burger joints in your city, but yours is the only one that’s committed to sustainability, and your green, earthy logo drives that message home.

A well-designed logo can communicate everything from the company’s background to their mission through the right icon or proper font.

In other words, your logo is the platform to both convey your values and show consumers why you’re not like your competitors, you’re better…. no you’re great.

Social media emerged as a miracle of information technology. It refers to websites and applications that are designed to allow people to share content quickly, efficiently, and in real-time.

From a business perspective, social networking helps you reach a number of potential customers without spending exorbitant amounts of money on advertising while staying in touch with current customers. There are a number of sites that offer “promotions” at a very low cost, however, if you don’t want to pay them, there are other options always available on your side.

Social media provides you the best platform for expressing your business in front of the world. If you have a solid presence on a popular social networking platform, suggest people that your business is on the cutting edge or at least is able to keep up with the changing time.

Here Are 5 Advantages You Can Get Through Social Media Marketing

1. Grow Your Brand Awareness

Social media helps you increase your brand since you will be engaging with a broad audience of consumers. Social networking is one of the most cost-efficient digital marketing methods used to syndicate content and improves your business’s visibility.

For getting started, create social media profiles for your business and begin interacting with others. Make your employees, business partners and sponsors to “like”, “Subscribe” and “share” your company’s profile. Having the general public interact with your content will increase brand awareness and begin building your reputation as a good business.

Each post you will share on your company’s profile will be introduced to a new network of individuals, if your content is more understandable it can lead them to become potential customers. More people know about your business, more it will be better.

It’s not any rocket science, 91% of marketers claimed that their social media marketing efforts greatly increased their exposure by investing as low as 6 hours per week. There is not any doubt that by simply having a social media page your brand will get the benefit and with regular use it can generate a wide audience for your business.

2. Increase Your Traffic

Your business on social media needs marketing! Without marketing your inbound traffic will only be limited to your usual customers. The people familiar with your brand are likely searching for the same keywords you already rank for.

If you are not properly utilizing social media as part of your marketing strategy, you will always face difficulty in reaching anyone outside of your loyal customer circle. Every social media profile you add to your marketing mix is a gateway to your website, and every content you post is another opportunity to acquire a new customer.

Social networking is a melting pot of different types of people with varying backgrounds and behaviors. Everyone in this world has different needs and different ways of thinking. Syndicating your content on as many social media platforms as possible allows these individuals to organically reach your business.

3. Improve Search Engine Rankings

Although posting on social networking sites might get your business some site traffic, more efforts are still required to see significant success. SEO (Search Engine Optimization) is very important for achieving higher page ranking and obtaining more traffic to your website of a business.

While working on social media, it is necessary to keep in mind that social media doesn’t directly increase search engine ranking. According to the research, 58% of marketers using social media for more than a year still see improved search engine ranking.

For the best chance of ranking better through social media, create high-quality content that integrates your targeted keywords. Creative content such as blogs, infographics, case studies, business information, and employee photos will make your business’s social media profile intriguing and credible.

Once you start posting quality content, you’ll begin to build a social media community where followers will “like” and “share” your content. It will give you more opportunities to get in front of industry influencers who will write about your business and provide links back which will directly increase search engine rankings.

4. Branding

While branding your products, you may not see as high a conversion rate via social media as you have on other marketing mediums, but the impression a brand gives off and the reputation it builds, it can be greatly enhanced and showcased through social media.

Promoting your business through messages across social media platforms allows us to talk about what’s most important to our customers and lets us train them to keep our brands at the top of their mind when they really need to buy some stuff.

There is also a thing to keep it in mind that, each platform is different in terms of what it does well, the demographics of its audience, and the kind of content while publishing. So, each brand’s messaging should be tailored as such.

During a business’s branding journey across social media, you’re able to talk about what’s important to the brand and its customers. Tell your brand’s story; build the legend as what it’s worth to the people who have devoted their lives to building it.

You can show off your brand culture, stand out among the rest for the traits that make your brand different from others, and attract new, quality employees and further improve your business even more.

5. Increases Conversion Rates

Your business gains more opportunities for conversion with the help of increased visibility. Every blog post, image, video, or even comment may lead viewers to your company’s website and increase traffic.

Social media marketing allows your business to gain a positive impression through a humanization factor. Brand’s instructiveness personifies by sharing content, commenting, and posting statuses on social media.

More than 50% of marketers believe that taking the time to develop relationships with customers showed positive results in sales. The better impression on a visitor will make them think of your business when the need for your product or services.

Research also shows that social networking has a 100% higher lead to close rate than outbound marketing. When a brand is interactive online, customers who follow your brand’s accounts often begin to trust the credibility of your business more.

Why people use social media? Obviously, keeping in contact with family, friends, and communities. Since people are already talking, so why not throw your brand into the mix? More likely, they will mention your brand to a friend when your products or services are needed.

According to research, 66% of marketers saw lead generation benefits by using social networking platforms at least 6 hours per week. Conversion rates on the existing traffic can only be improved by putting your brand in a position where people are liking, sharing, and talking about it.

These are the top 5 advantages you can easily score by using social media for the promotion of your brand. More than that, it is less time taking and all you have to hire a social media expert if you want. If you don’t, well you are yourself a social media expert, everybody is.

If you have a small business, generating more leads should be your top priority. Luckily, there is number of ways to get more leads quickly and quite effectively.

The given five ideas can be used by business of all sizes and most industries. The key is to test and modify to make them work for your customer base. Here are the top five ways to generate more leads for your business.

Facebook Ads

One of the most effective ways to generate more leads for businesses is none other than Facebook Ads. If you are willing to investigate your money, you have access to specific targeting options, including age, location, interests and more.

To make your ads successful, and drive qualified leads, use best practices and follow your data. Here are a few tips to keep in mind as you create your first Facebook ad:

The ad should be closely related to the content people are clicking through to. If there’s any confusion, people are more likely to click away, assuming there might be a mistake while posting it.

Use eye-catching, bright colors, rather than blues or whites. The latter tends to blend in with Facebook’s branding.

Run your first ad based on a group of audience, which uses your list of imported customers to find similar Facebook users.

Know the difference between the cost per impressions and cost per clicks. You can read more through Facebook’s guide on this before choosing one or the other.

Personalized Email Marketing

Email marketing is a great way to drive more leads towards your business, especially when your emails are personalized to the person receiving it.

The research found that personalized emails generated up to six-time higher revenue than non-personalized emails and campaigns. Use your email platform to personalize your email greeting to include the recipient’s name. Group your contacts by name location, purchase history, or expressed interests.

This small connection will help you drive more leads while building brand loyalty with potential customers. As you begin sending emails, it is necessary to track your success. This allows you to test, modify and evolve, driving more leads with each send.

Compare your open and click rates to the average for your industry, as well to check if you are on par or behind.

You should also need to check where people are clicking within the email itself. If you place links in more than one place in your email, you need to track which of the link receive more clicks. If you are able to know your subscribers’ habits allows you to be more effective.

Offer Discounts

To drive more leads, another most effective way is to offer discounts and coupons. In 2016, according to the study, 75% of retailers polled said this was the best coupon/discount for increasing long-term revenue.

The moment when you have created your deal or coupon, it is time to distribute. In other words, you can’t expect customers to find these discounts and deals themselves.

All you have to share with current and future customers via all your online platforms, including social media, email, and web.

If possible and you can afford quite easily, create a banner ad or pop-up for your website as well, enticing potential customer to buy right then and there.

If direct mailing is part of your marketing budget, use this as a platform to distribute discounts and coupons as well.

Do SEO

Content is a great way to build search engine optimization for your any online presence, show your knowledge as a business, and generate more leads.

The first step is using the content as a lead-driving tool is to remember that this term encompasses more than just blog posts. Content could be an eBook, guide, white paper, graphic, in-depth study or video.

The content is then gated, so potential customers give you their contact information in exchange for access to it.

To make the most of your content, consider how you can make it most valuable and targeted. For example, if your customer is in the healthcare industry, create a piece of content for healthcare leaders. Learn about this audience, write about a topic that you have found to be most important to them; and in a format, they prefer and then promote it accordingly.

Referral Partnerships

If you’re having a small business, you can generate leads by partnering with other small businesses. A simple way to facilitate all this is with a referral partnership.

In this case, you receive a percentage of the revenue from referrals you send to the other business and vice versa.

Have your lawyers or legal team create and proof paperwork, to ensure both sides are clear on the stipulations. Include information about requirements such as total sale amount, quality of the leads, percentage tiers, and more.

You might have heard people saying, I want to build my personal brand. So, what exactly is this thing? Personal branding is the practice of people broadcasting their careers as brands. It’s not so simple, it is an ongoing process of developing and maintaining a reputation and impression of an individual, group, company, brand, business, or even organization.

People first think of numbers when they start building up their brand. Numbers like the number of Twitter followers, Facebook page likes, blog subscribers, YouTube subscribers, and many more.

But those are a very poor metrics for building a meaningful personal brand. Building a personal brand means providing so much value in one niche (or even multiple) that people begin to associate your name with the idea of what it means to be successful in that very industry.

While building a personal brand takes a lot of work, but if you already made your mind to dive in, I’ve gathered some simple steps you should follow:

1. Test Yourself, know your strengths.

I don’t know about you, in fact, no one knows you better than you know yourself. As far as me, I am really, really a horrible person. I’m really bad at convincing myself to do things I don’t want. That is the reason, I said I’m horrible.

Just get back, the very first step is acknowledging what you like doing most – because if you do what you don’t like, chances are you won’t take it very seriously, and if you aren’t willing to take it seriously and be good at it, then why are you doing this?

Once you know what you like doing, you need to make the commitment to be as great at that thing as you possibly can be. Just don’t play with yourself, be realistic. This has nothing to do with being competitive, sometimes you just need to focus on what you want. This is your life, and you only live once!

This all has to do with realizing that whatever you like doing, a million-other people like doing too – and they are all ready to take your position. You need to be committed to becoming a thought leader in the thing you love doing most.

2. Find Your Social Platform.

One of the most common and biggest problems people make right out the gate, they rush into building a website themselves or start spending hours to come up with how they are going to brand themselves.

None of it matters, at least right now.

The thing which only matters is that you start owning your magic and providing value to people in a public domain. You have to be more focus instead of just running in the wall.

Find a social platform that suits your interest and start creating the best content you possibly can. By the way, who are you? Doctor? Make some videos regarding your area of practice. Upload it on Facebook. Are you a Fashion Designer? Upload the images of your latest designs on Instagram.

3. Build Relationships.

Now, bring some kindness and simplicity in your behavior. Everything doesn’t deserve an aggressive response. It is time to build new relationships now, build as many as you can with other thought leaders within your own domain. This will open so many doors for you and it will help you to grow your social following.

Find other people who create the same great content and do a collaboration with them. If you are a traveler, just go for a trip together, make a video and upload it on YouTube. Just bring it on, you have no excuse!

Create content together and trade audiences. Both of you will win and grow, and you’ll make some awesome connections and friends in the process. So, get going!

4. Say Hello To An Online World.

Now it’s time to say hello to the online world. The best time to build a website is when you have significant amount of following on social media sites. Start with something simple, like Squarespace or Wix. No need to directly jump to a custom WordPress website unless that’s your forte.

Your website should have all the information they want. Consider that readers are wild hunters. They are only here to get the information you are offering. So, you should keep it nice and tight. If the user didn’t get the information he was looking for, sorry, you’re fired!

The big win, here is for you to offer specialized content in exchange for their email – a free download, a trial code to a program, etc. Something that will provide them value and give the ability to give them even more value over the long term.

5. Now, Go For It.

Now, it is time to give it a go. The main purpose of building a Personal Brand is to avoid the route of being an affiliate to someone else. It’s kind of cool. But I have some other things in mind also.

The incentive for launching your own products, far more than monetarily, is the credibility it gives you. In this era business cards are books, courses, products that can be your ambassadors.

They are intended to open doors to other thought leaders in your industry, and tangential industries, so that you can continue building your social following, collaborating, and engaging with new influencers and their audiences.

Everyone wants more clients in their business. There is one thing that can help a lot in generating more leads. You might have heard online marketing works, but you are not sure where to start. Between Google, Facebook, PPC, SEO, and online reviews, there is a lot to consider and there are plenty of consultants who will claim their services are best.

But before getting into this, you must know which law firm marketing strategy will be best for you? How do you know what to invest in and what to ignore?

The best thing is to ask some other senior lawyers which tactics really worked for them. Plenty of lawyers will respond with accounts of what worked and what didn’t work for their firms. Right now, we are sharing some of the responses from the senior lawyers of the country in the form of tips you can use for your law firm.

Stay Live 24/7

93% of the general public go online to find answers, solutions to their problems. The Internet is a quick source of information. When everyone is searching for solutions, why don’t you offer yours?

Your firm’s website is arguably your number one marketing asset. Your site must carry a complete solution to consumer’s problems. All things should start and end on your website.

Just ignore everything in this article, if you don’t like reading big articles, pay attention to this section. You are always in need of a professional website to portray the best of your business or you can say a law firm. Your website must carry attractive web design, functionality, and user experience so that your client thinks it as the best website they have ever visited.

As far as business and future are concerns, if’s, and’s, or but’s are not tolerated. You have to be focused and well aware. If your website doesn’t make your users “WOW”, then sorry – your website does not exist. To get the best user experience, your website should be:

Fast

Mobile Friendly

SEO

Attractive

Authoritative

Your Website Should Load Fast

Almost 50% of internet users are expecting your website to load within 3 to 5 seconds. If it doesn’t, your user will click the “back” button or he will close your tab.

Online marketers know that they can’t make this mistake at any cost. Your users are like a hunters’, if you don’t offer them what they are looking for, they will run to someone else. And we also know there is no shortage of lawyers!

I think you really should check your website loading speed. Get on to Google’s Page Speed Insights and test your site speed. If it’s in red, tell your web team to fix it.

Your Website Should Be Mobile Friendly

Mobile technology is growing at a rapid pace. Today, life has become so busy most of the internet related work is done from mobile phones. No one has enough time to set up the laptop and do his search.

More than 62% of the searches in the United States are happening on smartphones as compared to desktop computers. Whenever a layman is in need of any kind of solution he takes out his mobile out and starts searching on the internet.

Suppose someone is looking for a lawyer’s services and is able to find your website in a search engine due to your hard work on SEO. If your website is not mobile-friendly, you are nowhere!

You should go and test your site on your mobile phone. Does it interact correctly? Is the contact button working properly? Are the photos and videos working? Is the writing large enough to read? Test, check your website as your client would. If it is not the easiest and most beautiful thing you’ve ever seen, have your web team work on it.

Your Website Should Be Optimized For UX

User experience really matters a lot, we are living with people who are very judgmental. But, regardless of this, you are a lawyer, not an entertainer. Generally, users form an opinion about your site in just 0.5 seconds. In fact, about 3 out of every 4 people have sited a law firm’s website as the number one factor in deciding the credibility of a business.

This all happens subconsciously, all visual aspects of web pages need to be tailored to psychologically encourage trust, authority, and friendliness. That even goes for colors, shapes, photos, video clips, text font, calls to action, buttons, they all need to have a purpose.

It doesn’t mean that if you are a lawyer then you are done with user experience. Not only should your website appeal to a visitor’s subconscious, but your site also needs to have basic user experience (UX).

UX includes the entire interaction someone has with a website. This includes the piece of content you’ve published, the colors you have used, the layout you’ve made, and how users are interacting with the company. While designing, or developing your online presence, you have in mind that people should leave your website feeling 100% satisfied.

Your friends and family are only people who are most loyal to you, they can guide and bring out your flaws most sincerely. Ask your closer ones to look at your website through a mobile phone. If they were able to navigate around on their own then it’s a good thing. But if they don’t, chances are other consumers won’t be able to either.

You should also check their interest level. Your website must maintain their level of interest. If they get bored after two to three seconds of looking at your site, you may need to put an extra effort.

Go for Content Marketing and SEO

Search engine optimization is the practice of making your website show up higher in search engine results like Google and Bing when people search for your services. These days, when people need something, they pull out their smartphone or tablet and either type it into Google search or use voice commands to open local listings.

Your law firm, your website, needs to be on the first page of the search engineor it may as well not be listed at all! 55% of all clicks go to one of the first three organic search results.

Throughout the lifespan of the client, organic search has accounted for nearly 80% of all web form submissions from prospective clients. We covered making your website fast and mobile-friendly, which is half the battle in SEO for lawyers.

Your next step should be to focus on other aspects of SEO, including:

Add schema (extra website code) for attorneys

Optimize your landing pages for specific action-related keywords.

Add relevant keywords in title, image, and heading tags

Optimize images and add full of keyword description

Go for Content Marketing

No wants to hire a lawyer who does not have authority in the industry. Despite this obvious correlation, some of the firm partners have not ever really looked at the content on their site. Your website literally and visually makes up your visitor’s mind over whether to contact you or not.

By the way, when did you look at your firm’s website last time? What’s the overall message you tried to give? Is it easy to read or is it just a website filler? Do you have blogs there? Your website acts as your online salesman, so it needs to encourage prospective clients for consideration.

So, the first thing you should do is to build out content on your website. Start with your main services and work out from there. Your next target should be the blog section. Write a number of blogs on different topics, just answer the basic questions every time you get when a new client reaches you. Make it simple!

This will help you in establishing the authority in your industry. It will also help you to increase your website SEO.

Boost with Local SEO

It’s all not as simple as you are thinking right now. You need to claim all of your online real estate. Like all of your social media handles and also if there is something on Google.

Local SEO is the way to rank your rank on the search engines on the first page for the local service area. It’s different from normal SEO because it targets specific areas. The local pack is the box of Google Map results in the search results page, under the paid ads, and in the organic search results.

The information in the local SEO pack is pulled from your Google My Business account, which is why your GMB account needs to be claimed and optimized for local SEO. Your Google My Business profile is not the only one that needs to be optimized for that local SEO. One part of attorney local SEO is finding relevant online directories and claiming your listing. The top legal citation sources are:

FindLaw websites

Nolo

Law Guru

Law Info

Lawyers US Legal

lawyers.com

Superlawyers

Avvo

Justia

Best Lawyers

First of all, you have to find and claim your Google My Business account. Afterward update your phone number, address, business hours, reviews, and you are done but the article continues.

Paid Search Ads For Attorneys

If you want to promote your brand and bolster your SEO efforts, we recommend pay per click for lawyers. Paid search ads or pay per click ads are pretty much what they sound like: they are ads you pay for when someone clicks on it.

The reason you should use them is that pay per click ads have a prominent place in search results. When someone goes to any search engine like Google and searches for something, the top 3 – 5 listing are usually advertisements from Google’s AdWords. Just of an example – I’m in New York, and I searched for “Personal Injury Lawyer.” Here’s what came up:

Those dominant paid advertisements took up the entire top of my screen, and on average 41% of the clicks do to the first 3 paid ads on the search results page. But keeping in mind that average pay per click keywords for lawyers and legal services are quite expensive, its average click costing is $54.86.

So, what you have to do is to search for your legal services along with the name of your city. Now look for your competitors, if they rank in the top then you have a long way to go! If not, search for your particular law firm. There are some changes, one of your competitors is bidding on your name and showing ads when someone searches for your firm directly.

Build Your Social Media Presence

If you are thinking that law firms don’t need any presence on social media, then sorry to say – you are wrong my friend. More than 95% of millennials brands do have a social media presence, especially on Facebook.

Having one humanized you and gives people a window into what goes on behind the scenes. As far as people know, you and the rest of your law firm are stiff suits that just care about money. Alright, prove them wrong by boosting posts of your firm at charity events and doing, you know, human things if you have done any!

That’s not easy to decide which social media platform will help you more while looking at your law firm. Let’s say you provide your legal services to small businesses then you should be on LinkedIn other than Facebook. Think!

Email Marketing For Attorneys

Nobody I know has gotten out without using legal services at least two times in their lives. That means with the client you take on, you have an opportunity to build a close bond so you be able to become their family lawyers. By the way, you guys are good at convincing others, it is also a case.

Well, easy and the “cheapest” way of doing this is email marketing. On average, 4400% return is generated on investment while going for email marketing. It will help you to generate more leads.

It is one of the best ways to stay in front of potential and existing clients. 92% of adults in the United States use email, and more than 70% of an average have used a coupon or discount from a marketing email in the past week. As you guys go for the best part, so, the best part, it is one of the most cost-effective forms of legal advertising.

If you want to do more, invest in a video marketing expert. As you have a stunning website, you’ve optimized it for SEO, and you also started to expand your online presence on social media and email. So, video marketing is the only thing left.

It is also important to manage the reputation of your law firm. Even if I buy anything, I first check for the past reviews of customers. I’m not unique in that regard, 90% of consumers read online reviews before visiting a business.

After doing all of this, don’t consider yourself done. Running a business is not an easy thing, especially a law firm. You should have, right tracking, reporting, and analytics. Google does provide all of these services. It will help you target and remove all of the problems on time without causing any major problem.
