With approximately 21 years of experience in practice, Dr. Nnachi has devoted his career to caring for patients throughout rural Appalachian communities. Dr. Nnachi earned his medical degree from the University of Nigeria College of Medicine in 1995 and his pediatric specialty training programs was completed at Children's National Medical Center in DC. Over the course of his career, he has worked to expand access to healthcare by developing satellite clinics in different areas of rural Appalachia, helping bring essential medical services closer to communities that may otherwise face limited access to care. His practice model also supports the local economy and healthcare workforce by employing community members and mid-level healthcare providers, strengthening the connection between the practice and the populations it serves.

In addition to his clinical responsibilities, Dr. Nnachi has held numerous medical and administrative leadership positions. He has served as Chief of Staff and Chairman of the Pediatrics and Perinatal Departments at Logan Regional Medical Center, as well as former Chairman of the Infectious Disease Committee and a former member of the Logan Regional Medical Center Board of Trustees. He currently serves as a board member of the Medical Advisory Committee for both Aetna Better Health and WellPoint Healthcare Insurance, where his experience in pediatric medicine and community healthcare contributes to broader discussions surrounding patient care and healthcare delivery. His dedication to pediatric medicine, healthcare accessibility, medical leadership, and service to rural populations has made a meaningful impact throughout the Logan area and surrounding Appalachian communities.
