Dan also served as a Community Development Peace Corps volunteer in rural Thailand, is. Fluent in Thai, and produced and directed a Thai language children’s television series. CBS commissioned a book released in 2020 about Dan’s contributions to the Star Trek entertainment franchise co-written with London based writer, Ben Robinson, Star Trek: The Artistry Of Dan Curry.
With a career spanning multiple creative disciplines, Dan has earned acclaim for his work as a production designer for the Bangkok Opera, and the King of Thailand’s Annual Royal Ball. His expertise in visual storytelling and design has elevated productions across the globe, cementing his reputation as a leader in his field. Dan recently completed working with two White House teams developing educational materials to inspire students to study quantum and space related sciences.
Dan’s academic achievements include his undergraduate studies at Middlebury College and a Master of Fine Arts and an MFA from Cal Poly Humboldt. His passion for art and design has fueled a career that merges creativity with technical mastery.
Dan’s personal life is a testament to his dedication to family. He is a proud husband and father to one son, And is overjoyed with a newly arrived grandson.
