Dr. Manov serves as a Professor of Internal Medicine, Endocrinology, Diabetes, and Metabolism at Touro Medical School in Nevada, where he teaches on a daily basis to medical students from both Touro and the University of Nevada, Las Vegas.
He is currently the principal investigator for a prospective trial aimed at introducing continuous glucose monitoring for patients with poorly controlled Diabetes Mellitus who require multiple daily insulin injections being conducted at the Internal Medicine Residency Clinic in Mountain View Hospital, Las Vegas, Nevada.
With a wealth of leadership experience, he previously served as the Chairman of the Department of Internal Medicine at John Peter Smith Health Network in Fort Worth, TX, from 2008 to 2018. He now serves as the Program Director of the Transitional Year Residency and is a core faculty member of the Internal Medicine Residency at Sunrise Health GME Consortium in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Dr. Manov while working in laboratory of the renowned scientist Prof. Bottazzo in London Hospital Medical College and Middlesex Hospital in London, England discovered for first time the expression of the adhesion molecule CD-44 in Snap frozen section and cell cultures in patients with different autoimmune thyroid disease.
In addition to his clinical and academic achievements, Dr. Manov is widely recognized as a renowned lecturer, sharing his expertise in national and international symposiums on topics such as DM type I and Type II management and other areas of endocrinology. He has also contributed as an editor to three medical journals in the USA and has written endocrine chapters in 10 English medical books.
