Wallace M. Overfelt, II

It all started in 1990. After graduating with a Business degree, Wally was planning on going to graduate school but the Peace Corps knocked on his door first. Wally spent the next two years counseling small businesses in Costa Rica. When his enlistment was completed Wally decided he wanted to turn his passion for exploring diverse culture and small business into a business of his own. Wally began importing from Guatemala, and soon added Ecuador, and Mexico to his adventures. Shannan and Wally met in 1992 and decided to go on this journey together. Almost 30 years later, countless hours in the air, on buses and taxis and more hotel rooms than they can remember, the result is Cross Cultures Worldwide Imports. A small business started by a world traveler who wanted to bring artistry and diversity to the mainstream. Today Cross Cultures has two locations in the beautiful Texas Hill Country and offering from 50+ countries that will intrigue the art and culture lovers, the old hippie in all of us and the new boho generation.
