About:

World-Renowned Sports Photographer Dick Druckman

For over 40 years, acclaimed sports photographer Dick Druckman has captured iconic moments in sports history. His award-winning images span 12 Super Bowls, World Series, Stanley Cup Finals, NBA Championships, and Olympic Games, preserving the excitement and emotion of these legendary events. Many of his once-in-a-lifetime photographs have been featured in Sports Illustrated, Parade Magazine, USA Today, Squash Magazine, and The Associated Press, which has distributed them to newspapers and publications worldwide.

Dick’s extraordinary work is showcased at Gold Medal Impressions Inc., the nation’s largest sports photography gallery, which offers a continuous display of premier images highlighting football, basketball, baseball, hockey, college sports, and Olympic events. His photographs have been prominently exhibited at venues across the globe, including New York City’s Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center.

Recently, Dick was featured on ABC World News with Diane Sawyer as an inspiring figure who successfully transitioned into a second career—combining his passion for sports and photography.

Born and raised in Hartford, CT, Dick earned his B.A. from Trinity College and his MBA from Columbia University. After marrying his sweetheart, Joan, he built a distinguished corporate career as Senior Vice President of Strategic Planning before retiring to follow his passion for sports photography. He is the proud father of three sons and nine grandchildren.

Beyond photography, Dick is dedicated to philanthropy, working closely with various charitable organizations. He takes special joy in treating young cancer patients to unforgettable experiences, such as front-row seats at the World Series and All-Star Games.

Gold Medal Impressions Inc., located in Princeton Junction, offers thousands of matted and framed sports images, with custom framing available within days.
