I started young. when I was 2 years 4 months old, I helped Mom on a problems she brought back from her visit to Atlantic Bell. Direct Dial? How can Atlantic Bell Deliver Direct Dial and with that eliminate the switch board? I did it. I working out the logic for Direct Dial using their Relay Board. They tested it, in Manhattan, Washington D.C. and Brooklyn (where I was born) and it worked. That gave rise to AT&T, a Bell Company. My Grandfather, Thomas Alva Edison, signed off the work, the Direct Dial Logic to the United States as National (whatever that is, I was not yet 3 years old & I didn't know everything, I'm just good in logic and math and I started young) work and thus the birth of AT&T. There were over 10,000 Telephone Companies out there with about 1,000 being the core of the industry. Even the President of the United States could not place a call Coast to Coast.. Just how do you get thru all those Phone Companies. With only one phone company and direct dial logic it could be done. A coast to coast call with operator assistance, and later with Area Code, which Bell Labs started working on immediately. So Mom went on to something else. The Eniac. How did she do that? She was the daughter of Thomas Alva Edison, the inventor, that's how. My childhood advantage. I am a Grandson of Thomas Alva Edison, Inventor of: Phonograph, Motion Picture Camera (Lost all rights in a settlement with the Government of the United States regarding Monopoly Control of the Device), the Modern Light Bulb, various patents for generation and distribution of Electric Power. I was introduced to him when he was 92 years old, he hoped to be 100. He didn't. I'm not sure if he reached 93 years old. I enjoyed his company, loved him testing me. Figuring out what he was teaching. Enjoyed his teaching, his searching and him teaching me searching. We spent some good time together, me, him and his friend Fermi. When my work with the Eniac was done my parents tried to send me to school. Brooklyn, PS9. Impossible. I was nearly two years younger than the youngest child there. Impossible. The school system sent me home with this, the age difference between me and the rest of the class is incompatible. My parents challenged that and I was tested by the State of New York and the United States Department of Education and found to be qualified to attend Julliard, PS 29, Brooklyn, school for gifted students. I was introduced to the school and evaluated. Les Paul reviewed me and had me as his student, Guitar. Walt Disney reviewed me and I became an Associate Mouseketter, the second youngest on the Team. The results are in. Do you know that when you are declared a Gifted Talent that members of your family can become so jealous that they are a danger to your talent? It is too much for them. Check the record. The That Is True.
