Dr. Pennock received a Bachelor of Science in psychology, with a concentration in neuroscience, from Davidson College in North Carolina. He earned his Master of Biotechnology from Penn State University, earned his medical degree (MD) from Penn State College of Medicine, and completed residency in radiation oncology at Montefiore Medical Center – Albert Einstein College of Medicine, where he served as chief resident, earning the Leo M. Davidoff Society of the Albert Einstein College of Medicine: Outstanding Teaching Award. He volunteers with Connecting Champions and was granted the Inspiration Award for his mentorship of children recovering from cancer. He obtained board certification in radiation oncology from the American Board of Radiology (ABR).
