First and foremost, I want to thank the colleague or patient that nominated me for the opportunity to have a membership in the Global Who's Who!
I dedicated my life to becoming a medical provider and to helping others. After graduating high school I attended the University of Missouri and obtained two bachelors degrees in Biological Sciences and Psychology with the hopes of attending medical school.
During my countless hours of shadowing multiple specialities in medicine, I met some terrific physician assistants who helped me to realize that I wanted to attend PA school instead of medical school. It allowed me to obtain a vast amount of knowledge in medicine in a shorter amount of time, thus able to serve my local community at an earlier age. My degree in physician assistant studies allowed me to be a "generalist" in medicine, meaning that I am able to practice in multiple specialties to better serve my community.
I truly love being a Physician Assistant and I believe that my patients and colleagues would all agree that I show enthusiasm, compassion, and empathy while treating my patients.
I currently practice in the Emergency Room at Lake Regional Hospital which is a small, rural one hundred bed hospital. Even though our hospital is small we are the closest TRAUMA, STEMI, and STROKE center within a 90 mile radius. Practicing at this facility allows me to care for a wide variety of patients with varying disease processes and illnesses. I am grateful to work at this amazing facility with terrific colleagues!
Outside of work I enjoy spending time with my family, reading, and doing seasonal interior design!
