Dr. Deborah Z. Bain, MD, FAAP, IFMCP, ABOIM, ABIHM, CEDH-C

I am an integrative holistic pediatrician and owner of Healthy Kids Pediatrics, Center for Health and Wellbeing in Frisco, Texas, practicing medicine for over 30 years. I am also an author.

My "back story" was that I was a frustrated patient in the very medical system that I serve, having nine neck and back surgeries in my 30’s and stage 3B breast cancer at age 39. I battled my way back to health after the standard protocols and procedures that may have stabilized my disease state, left my body severely nutrient depleted and toxic overloaded. I tell my story in “How the Chiropractor Saved my Life, My Journey to Wellness and Beyond.” I opened Healthy Kids Pediatrics at the tail end of my cancer journey with new-found hope in a different way to address chronic disease and a proactive approach to true "healthcare." The second book I wrote, titled, Living Out of the Box, Changing the Face of Healthcare, is a book of hope and advocacy for families with real healthcare struggles. It showcases several patients in my practice struggling with eczema, food allergies, motor tics, anxiety, autoimmune disease and autism. I tell their "back story" and how we fully restored their health, not just managed their symptoms.
