Nicholas M. Bertha MD

I am Nicholas M. Bertha, M.D., an orthopedic surgeon with Virtua Reconstructive Orthopedics serving patients throughout South Jersey. My practice focuses on orthopedic sports medicine and preservation of the shoulder, hip, and knee, including the treatment of sports injuries, shoulder arthritis, and complex conditions affecting active patients. I also perform shoulder replacement surgery for patients with advanced shoulder arthritis. My approach is centered on helping patients preserve mobility, restore function, and return to the activities that matter most to them. After earning my medical degree from Drexel University College of Medicine, I completed orthopedic residency training at Penn State and advanced fellowship training at the University of Colorado. As my practice continues to grow, my goal is to serve as a trusted regional resource for elite and recreational athletes seeking advanced orthopedic and joint-preservation care in South Jersey.
