Dr. Priscilla R. Heredia, is a dedicated and accomplished optometrist and optometric glaucoma specialist, serving as CEO of Southwest Texas Eyecare Associates - a proud legacy founded by her father, Dr. Carlos E. Rodriguez. Dr. Heredia is highly trained in ocular pathology, comprehensive medical eye exams as well as routine eye exams for glasses and contacts. After becoming an honors graduate of the prestigious University of Houston College of Optometry, Dr. Heredia returned home to Eagle Pass, TX with a passion to serve in a medically underserved area to include Maverick and surrounding counties. With more than 10 years of experience in the field, her commitment to excellence, compassion and leadership has been recognized through multiple honors including the Best of Business Rate Award, the University of Houston Cougar 100 award which named Southwest Texas Eyecare Associates as one of the fastest-growing Cougar-owned businesses, and Top Optometrist in the Global Directory of Who's Who.
