His passion for neurology was solidified during medical school following his own diagnosis with multiple sclerosis, later completed a specialized fellowship in multiple sclerosis at the University of Chicago.
Prior to joining Associated Neurology in July 2024, Dr. Shaffer served as Co-Director of UCHealth’s Center for Comprehensive MS Care and as a neurologist and MS specialist at UCHealth’s Neurology Clinic in Fort Collins.
