Yvonne Bell CMBS

I am Yvonne Bell, a billing manager serving a private family medicine practice in San Leandro, California. Since joining the office on July 10, 1992, I have progressed from a file clerk to a front-desk supervisor and then into medical billing leadership. My work supports two primary care physicians and the administrative processes that keep their practice operating day to day.

My background includes medical office management studies at Bryman and decades of hands-on experience in healthcare administration. Since July 2015, I have managed the billing department as its sole staff member. My responsibilities include electronic insurance claims, payment follow-up, payment-posting workflows, and the patient copayment checks that still arrive by mail. Over the years, I have adapted from manual billing to electronic health record-connected systems.

I take pride in completing daily responsibilities, learning new systems, and providing dependable support through changes in staffing and physician ownership. I look forward to continuing that work with the practice and the physicians I have supported for so many years.
