My career started in her family's ladies apparel store in 1969 when I was a senior in high school. I worked there for 27 years before going in to teaching special ed students, which I did for 10 years. In 2005 I took over the reigns of the family ranch, which we have had since the 1880's as President. During this role I have kept the corporation debt free and in the black, guided the development of hunting and grazing leases, as well as oil, gas and pipeline interests. I am also mentoring the next generation for the time the torch will need to be passed.
