Dr. Judy Mejido, DMD

Dr. Judy Mejido is a highly respected general and cosmetic dentist serving the Miami, Florida community. As the founder of Judy Mejido DMD, PA, she is known for delivering personalized, high-quality care with a strong focus on patient comfort, advanced technology, and long-term oral health.

Dr. Mejido’s passion for dentistry began early in life. Growing up in a family-owned dental laboratory, she was immersed in the field from a young age. This early exposure sparked a deep appreciation for dentistry and nurtured her innate desire to care for others—values that continue to define her practice today.

She completed her undergraduate studies at Barry University, where she also worked as a dental assistant, gaining hands-on experience in patient care. After earning her bachelor’s degree in 1989, she was accepted into the University of Florida College of Dentistry, where she received her Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree in 1993. She then completed a dental residency at Mount Sinai Medical Center, further refining her clinical skills.

Following her residency, Dr. Mejido practiced in Miami Beach and Fort Lauderdale before pursuing her dream of opening her own practice. In 1997, she established her office in the Kendall/West Miami area, where she continues to serve patients with dedication and compassion. Her state-of-the-art facility reflects her commitment to incorporating the latest advancements in dental technology to improve patient outcomes and comfort.

With over 30 years of experience, Dr. Mejido specializes in dental implants, Invisalign, smile design, TMJ treatment, laser dentistry, and comprehensive family care. She is also a trusted consultant to fellow dental professionals and an active member of the AACCA.

Her excellence and leadership have earned her recognition from the Global Directory of Who’s Who, as well as distinction among Influential Women in Dentistry.
