White, Chief Operations Officer of Misha House LLC, for her exceptional leadership and unwavering commitment to advancing behavioral health and recovery services. For the past 11 years, Ms. White has helped guide the organization, which specializes in outpatient substance use disorder treatment services. Beginning her tenure as Executive Director and later advancing to Chief Operations Officer, she oversees credentialing and accreditation with Maryland and national agencies, clinical staffing, regulatory compliance with COMAR standards, grant writing and management, staff supervision, and day-to-day operations. In addition to her administrative leadership, White actively participates in public speaking and consulting engagements, sharing her expertise to strengthen recovery support systems and behavioral health services. She earned a Master of Community Mental Health Services from McDaniel College in Westminster, Maryland, and a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of Baltimore.
Beyond her professional responsibilities, Ms. White has established herself as a respected leader and advocate throughout Maryland’s recovery community. She serves as President of the Maryland Addiction Behavioral Health Professional Certification Board, which oversees peer recovery and addiction counseling certifications across the state, and is affiliated with the International Certification & Reciprocity Consortium (IC&RC). She also serves as President of the Recovery Community Association and is a member of the National Recovery Month Planning Committee, helping organize annual initiatives that promote recovery awareness and support services. An Adjunct Professor at the Community College of Baltimore County – Dundalk, Ms. White teaches Human Services and Peer Recovery Support Education and Training, helping prepare the next generation of behavioral health professionals. Her dedication has earned numerous honors, including the 2025 Unsung Hero Award presented by NCADD Maryland, the 2025 Adjunct Professor of the Year Award from the Community College of Baltimore County, and several leadership awards from the recovery community.
Ms. White is also an accomplished author, having published 90 Words in 90 Days: A Guide to Greatness in 2023, an inspirational daily devotional focused on personal growth, self-development, and improving quality of life. Throughout every aspect of her career, she remains guided by humility and a profound commitment to service. “I don’t do what I do for notoriety or fame. I do it because it’s something that needs to be done, and I try to make life better for someone else,” she says. Her passion for helping others, combined with her leadership, advocacy, and educational contributions, has made her a powerful force in the behavioral health and recovery communities and a deserving honoree of The Global Directory of Who’s Who.
