Dr. Casey Gaskins, Au.D., CCC-A, is a licensed audiologist in Maryland providing comprehensive hearing and balance care for patients of all ages at the Waldorf, MD hearing center. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Hearing and Speech Sciences, with a minor in Spanish, and her Doctorate of Audiology from the University of Maryland, College Park. Dr. Gaskins holds the Certificate of Clinical Competence in Audiology (CCC-A) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association and maintains an active Maryland audiology license. Dr. Gaskins completed advanced clinical and research training through an externship at the University of Miami Ear Institute and an internship with Advanced Bionics, where she contributed to research focused on improving sound localization in bilateral cochlear implant users. She integrates this strong research foundation with hands-on clinical expertise to deliver evidence-based, patient-centered audiology services. Born and raised in Charles County, Dr. Gaskins returned to Southern Maryland to serve the hearing and balance needs of her local community. She is known for her compassionate, attentive approach and commitment to creating a welcoming environment where patients and families feel heard and supported. Her audiologic specialties include diagnostic hearing evaluations, hearing aids and hearing aid repair, real-ear verification, cochlear implant assessment and programming, vestibular and balance testing (VNG and canalith repositioning), electrophysiologic testing (ABR, VEMP, EcochG), tinnitus assessment and management, cerumen management, and newborn hearing screening. Dr. Gaskins is dedicated to improving quality of life through personalized, high-quality hearing health care.
