Charlotte, NC – Yosuke Hirono, Regional Manager for the Asia-Pacific region. has been honored by the Global Directory of Who’s Who for his pioneering contributions to sustainable marine aquaculture. With a B.S. in Aquaculture from Tokyo University of Marine Science and Technology and ongoing graduate studies at the University of Miami, Mr. Hirono has led efforts to overcome technical and measurement barriers in U.S. marine aquaculture. A trailblazer in shrimp hatchery management, he holds two U.S. patents for transporting shrimp eggs and larvae and is widely published in international journals and co-authored a book on shrimp industry development. His expertise spans aquatic ecology, environmental science, feed manufacturing, and water quality, and he is a frequent speaker at global conferences. Married for 45 years, he enjoys golf and time with his son and daughter.
