Dr. Michael Fisher was born and raised in Richmond, Indiana. He attended Indiana University for undergraduate and Optometry school and obtained his O.D. in 1989. He did an extra year of training in the Veterans Administration in Chillicothe and Columbus, Ohio. He had 25+ years of experience before opening his own practice Fisher Optometry, located at 1835 W Main Street, in Richmond, Virginia. They offer Comprehensive Vision and Eye Health Examinations, Pediatric Eye Care, Glasses, Contact Lenses with Exams and Fittings. Dr. Fisher is a member of NBEO Third Phase State Board Grader, a former member of IOA, and AOA, and a former Co-Director of Emergency Eye Clinic.
