Ron du Preez earned his PhD from the University of the Western Cape in South Africa, his ThD from the University of South Africa (UNISA) as well as 3 Master's degrees and a DMin from Andrews University, USA. Dr. Ron du Preez is a full professor who is an outstanding teacher and researcher. He and his wife, Lynda, have served as missionaries in Asia, Africa, and South America. Professor du Preez was named as Humanitarian of the Year, Teacher of the Year, Researcher of the Year, and Alumnus of the Year. He served as the main editor of various books, besides the ones he himself has written. To celebrate turning 60, he walked and ran 7 marathons in 7 days in 7 different European nations. Later he became the co-founder of the F5 Challenge (i.e., Faith, Fellowship, Fitness, Fortitude & Fun), an online group with a mission to empower especially young people through an active lifestyle.
