GALAX, VA — Jacquelyn D. Fox, Owner and Operator of Senior Home Share LLC, has been confirmed as a Top Health Executive with the Global Directory of Who’s Who, recognizing her approximately 20 years of experience and leadership in senior home care, home health care, personal care, and residential senior care. Ms. Fox founded Senior Home Share approximately 10½ years ago and has continued to lead the company as an owner-operated organization. The company provides flexible in-home senior care ranging from approximately four hours per day to 24-hour care, while also offering residential senior care in private homes designed to provide individualized, around-the-clock support. At the time of recognition, Senior Home Share was preparing to open its eighth residential senior care home, with each home accommodating three seniors and maintaining an approximately one-to-three caregiver-to-resident ratio.
Ms. Fox's caregiving philosophy centers on relationships, dignity, interaction, and independence. Rather than simply completing tasks for seniors, she encourages residents to remain engaged in familiar daily activities, including washing dishes, doing laundry, and participating in other routines that promote purpose and independence. In addition to Senior Home Share, Ms. Fox owns, operates, or is developing several healthcare-focused ventures, including Healthcare Academy of Southwest Virginia, a licensed CNA academy; a new medical practice being established with a local physician; and Sweet Pea Imaging, which provides elective 3D, 4D, and 5D ultrasounds for expectant mothers. Senior Home Share has approximately 21 administrative staff members supported by a strong management team, allowing Ms. Fox to maintain a hands-on leadership role while positioning the organization for continued growth.
A respected professional in the healthcare community, Ms. Fox maintains affiliations with the Home Care Association of America and the Virginia Home Health and Hospice Association in Richmond, Virginia. Her professional accomplishments are complemented by a strong family foundation: she and her husband, who also worked for the DEA during their time in Northern Virginia, have three daughters and 12 grandchildren, with each daughter having four children. Through her entrepreneurial leadership, commitment to compassionate senior care, and dedication to expanding healthcare services in Southwest Virginia, Ms. Fox continues to make a meaningful contribution to the lives of seniors, families, caregivers, and patients throughout the region.
