Southgate, Michigan — The Global Directory of Who’s Who proudly recognizes Saba R. Cossor, M.D., FAAP, a board-certified pediatrician and owner of the Child and Adolescent Center (CAC Kids) in Southgate, Michigan. Dr. Cossor specializes in outpatient general pediatrics and provides comprehensive care for children and adolescents, including well-child services, sick-child care, newborn care and breastfeeding support, growth and development, injuries and emergencies, behavioral disorders, and attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder. She joined the Child and Adolescent Center in 2007, became a partner in 2013, and later acquired the interests of the practice’s other two physicians, continuing the legacy of a private pediatric practice that has served families since 1975.
Dr. Cossor earned her Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) degree from the University of Missouri and completed her pediatric residency at Nationwide Children’s Hospital in Ohio in 2007. She is board certified in pediatrics and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics (FAAP). Her professional affiliations also include membership in the Michigan State Medical Society and the Michigan Chapter of the American Academy of Pediatrics. Through CAC Kids, Dr. Cossor and her team provide a broad range of pediatric services, including routine preventive care, evaluation and treatment of childhood illnesses, and common in-office diagnostic testing.
Dr. Cossor credits much of her professional success to the lasting relationships she develops with children and their families. Her approach to pediatrics centers on knowing each child personally, watching them grow, celebrating important milestones, and supporting families through challenging times. Although she initially considered a career in plastic surgery, her pediatric rotations consistently brought her a sense of fulfillment and happiness, ultimately leading her to choose pediatrics as her calling.
