SEATTLE, WA — The Global Directory of Who's Who recognizes Lisa A. Lester, MD, for her professional work in general neurology and her clinical focus on migraine and headache disorders. Dr. Lester's experience includes caring for patients with dementia, Parkinson's disease and seizures, alongside the development of a headache-focused practice. Her work in headache care includes Botox injections, nerve blocks and trigger point injections.

Dr. Lester earned her medical degree at Chicago Medical School at Rosalind Franklin and completed a four-year residency at Kaiser Los Angeles Medical Center in Los Angeles, California. Her headache focus developed through clinical practice rather than a dedicated headache fellowship. She is a member of the American Medical Association and the American Academy of Neurology.

Following five years with Optum, Dr. Lester left that position at the end of August and is exploring locum tenens and per diem opportunities while considering a longer-term, primarily headache-focused role in Seattle. She plans to evaluate different practice settings before selecting her next permanent position. Through this recognition, the Global Directory of Who's Who highlights her experience in general neurology, the development of her headache practice and her continued professional focus on this area of care.
