A graduate of Duke University, where he studied mind-body health, Ali also earned a master’s degree in biomedical engineering from the University of California, Los Angeles. Before entering residential care, he spent approximately 10 years working with biotechnology startups and medical-device companies, helping launch medical technologies and serving primarily in training-focused roles. His leadership philosophy centers on teaching, coaching, mentoring, and maintaining a supportive workplace culture, which has contributed to exceptionally low employee turnover.
