Bergman earned his M.D. at the University of Virginia in Charlottesville, he completed a residency in internal medicine at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia and a residency in cardiology at Montefiore Medical Center in the Bronx, New York City. Dr. Bergman is triple board certified in internal medicine, cardiovascular disease, and nuclear cardiology. He is one of the principals of Comprehensive Internal Medicine and Cardiology. With their accredited echocardiography, nuclear, PET, and carotid laboratories, the team can evaluate and treat the full spectrum of cardiovascular diseases.
