Thomas J. Salyer earned an MBA in Computer Science at UNC. He was a Senior Network Engineer for Dell and HP. He is a Microsoft Certified Engineer, Microsoft Certified Teacher, Linux Certified, Net+ and A+ certified. Thomas has started a new company called Blue Mountain Senior Care that builds assisted living facilities, there are 12 in the works currently around North Chesterfield. His facilities provide 24 hour nursing care and personal attention unlike larger living facilities. Thomas's grandmother was the inspiration for his new company. Thomas is also a real estate investor and this new company is a subsidiary of his larger company TJS GLOBAL SOLUTIONS. He has been featured in the men’s magazine ‘He Is’.
