Dr. Linsky earned his Doctor of Medicine from the University of Alabama at Birmingham in 2010, followed by a residency at the University of Louisville, in Louisville, KY. and a fellowship in Thoracic Surgery at UAB. He is double board certified in General and Thoracic Surgery and is actively involved in advanced procedures, including robotic surgery. His primary focus remains clinical care, where he consistently delivers cutting-edge treatment with a compassionate, patient-centered approach.
A recognized leader in academic surgery, Dr. Linsky is affiliated with prestigious organizations including the Association of Academic Surgeons, Fellow of the American College of Surgeons (FACS), General Thoracic Surgical Club, Society of Thoracic Surgery, and the Southern Thoracic Surgical Association. His excellence has been honored with the Edward J. Lennon Endowed Clinical Teaching Award in 2023, the Outstanding Educator Award (2020–2021), and repeated recognition as a Milwaukee Magazine Top Doctor from 2022 through 2025.
Beyond his professional achievements, Dr. Linsky is deeply committed to his community. He volunteers year-round as a youth sports coach, dedicating full-time efforts to baseball, basketball, football, and softball.
