Loogootee, IN – The Global Directory of Who’s Who proudly recognizes Ronald D. Gilbert for his outstanding contributions in the field of education. A retired full-time substitute teacher for the Life Skills program at Loogootee Schools, Mr. Gilbert has served students in grades 5 through 12 with passion and dedication. He holds both a Master’s in Education and a B.S. in Elementary Education from Indiana University Bloomington. Notably, he earned state-level recognition in high school mathematics competitions, placing second overall and ninth statewide. An active member of the Indiana State Teachers Association and the National Education Association, Mr. Gilbert continues to give back through church and food pantry volunteer work, as well as participation in after-school programs. Certified to teach and holding a partial degree in Chinese, he is also a proud husband, father of three, and grandfather to eight. His personal interests include driving a school bus and supporting school sports such as baseball, basketball, and volleyball.
