Professor Earl M. Ritzi

Professor Earl M. Ritzi earned his Ph.D. in Biology from Princeton University. He is a retired Professor of Microbiology from Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center & OSU Osteopathic Medical School. He specialized in Biology and Microbiology. Following his work on SV40 with Dr. Arnold Levine, he developed radio immunoassays and studied Mouse mammary Tumor virus proteins as systemic markers for mammary cancer in mice. He worked in immunology with Dr. William Stylos on prostaglandin RIAs and Dr. Sol Spiegelman on retrovirus mammary cancer studies. Professor Ritzi has approximately 30 publications to his credit and is a member of the American Society for Microbiology and a past member of the Cancer Research Association.
