She earned her medical degree from Rutgers in 1996, completed her residency at Robert Wood Johnson Medical Center in 1999, and pursued a fellowship in geriatrics at Georgetown University in 2000.
Dr. Mentor is a distinguished member of both the American College of Physicians (FACP), American Academy of Family Physicians (FAAFP), and the American Geriatric Society (AGS), She is also affiliated with First Class Behavioral Health. Her professional focus includes comprehensive care for patients of all ages, with a special emphasis on geriatric medicine, ensuring older adults receive tailored, compassionate, and effective healthcare.
Deeply committed to giving back, Dr. Mentor takes pride in supporting the veteran community, both professionally and personally, as her son is an active veteran. Her dedication, compassion, and decades of service have left a lasting impact on her patients and the community she serves. Dr. Mentor is a Haitian-American whose grandmother, she admired and was her greatest inspiration, passed away at the age of 106.

Peggy Mentor, MD, FAAFP, is known for her outstanding career in family medicine and geriatrics. Dr. Mentor has been in medical practice for 26 years, dedicating her expertise to serving the veteran community through her work at the Brockton VA. She is Haitian-American Citizen who was raised primarily by her grand-mother who died at the age of 106. She has also played a significant role in my career path. I look forward to continue my journey in providing evidence-based quality care to everyone irrespective of cultural background and support as well the Veteran given that my son is affiliated with the military. I am affiliated as well with First Behavioral health located in Canton, Massachusetts. Dr Mentor is a member of American Board of Family Medicine , American Geriatric Society and AMHE known as Haitian Medical Association Abroad.
