Natashia R. Pegram

Natashia R. Pegram earned her bachelor’s in education arts at Johnson C. Smith University, a masters in Curriculum and Supervision at UNCC and a master’s in administration leadership at Winthrop University. She is a Principal at Charlotte Mecklenburg Schools, Pinewood Elementary, PreK-5th Grade and 3 Special Needs Extension Classes. She manages 560+ students and 90+ staff, teaching the staff, building the culture of the school, making sure the impact is preserved through the beginning to the end of the school year that kids love coming to school. She has been awarded Cahn Fellows Program out of New York and nominated Distinguished Principals 2 from the District for Principal Leadership to elevate Student achievement and 1 year program for Principals with Tenure. Natashia has been named Pinewood Elementary Teacher of the Year. She is a member of NCAE. In her free time, she enjoys music, singing, and watching plays.
