Morristown, TN – The Global Directory of Who’s Who proudly honors Nancy J. Day, MSN, WHNP, for her outstanding contributions to nursing, women’s health, and community service.
Ms. Day is a Nurse Practitioner specializing in Women's Health (WHNP) at Slim & Trim Weight Loss Clinic. She earned her Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) from Drexel University and her Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from Barry University in Florida. Her dedication to nursing excellence has been recognized with the prestigious Beyond the Call Nursing Award and the Excellence in Nursing Award.
A passionate advocate for public health, Ms. Day is an active member of the Public Health Association of East Tennessee and serves as a volunteer for Serenity House. She is a member of Trinity United Methodist Church in Morristown, TN, offering her expertise and support to those in need. She served as a volunteer at Serenity house (a hospice-type facility) for almost one year.
In addition to her clinical achievements, Ms. Day is a published author. Her book, "Mom Has Alzheimer’s," was published by Fulton Books in Pennsylvania, providing insight and guidance on caregiving. She has also contributed professional literature with her article "How to Do the Best Breast Exam," published in The Nurse Practitioner Journal (Volume 4, Article 5, May 2008, Pages 342-349).
Ms. Day’s commitment to education and professional development has been recognized with a nomination for the Ruby Brown Memorial Scholarship.
Ms Day speaks French fluently and enjoys playing the piano, ice skating, roller blading, and bike riding. A devoted mother, she has two daughters and two Granddaughters, Kylie, 15 and Emmy, 10.
