Lourdes Benes M.D.

Lourdes Benes M.D. takes great pride in the care provided by the Neurology One team. She received her M.D. at NY Medical College, her residency at the University of South Florida and completed a Fellowship at Veteran's Affairs Medical Center from 2008-2018. Dr. Benes has extensive experience in clinical procedures such as botulinum toxin injections (migraine headaches, cervical dystonia, blepharospasm, hemifacial spasm and spasticity), occipital nerve blocks, trigger point injections as well as on the interpretation of electroencephalograms. Dr. Benes is the Medical Director at Neurology One and Grupoo de Neurologia Avanzada. She received a Florida Society of Neurology Travel Fellowship Award and named as Research Resident of the Year and Outstanding Resident of the Year. She is Chief Resident at the University of Florida Neurology Program.
