Scottsdale, AZ – Laura Sibrava, MBS, DMD, of North Scottsdale Dentistry, has been recognized by the Global Directory of Who’s Who for her outstanding contributions to dentistry, education, and community health. Practicing since 2012, Dr. Sibrava brings over 14 years of clinical experience to her patients, blending scientific expertise with an artistic foundation. She attended the University of Maryland, where she studied microbiology and dance—earning distinction as the university’s only “dancing scientist.” After returning to the Chicago area, she balanced performing with dance companies while working as a dental assistant focused on oral surgery and orthodontics, ultimately solidifying her path toward dentistry.

In 2006, Dr. Sibrava returned to academia to complete her master’s degree in biomedical sciences before earning her Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) from Midwestern University. Following dental training, she dedicated her skills to serving pediatric patients on the Navajo and Apache Reservations and later served as Chief Dental Officer for Hidalgo Medical Services, overseeing eleven clinics across Southwest New Mexico. Her leadership and commitment to expanding access to quality dental care have earned her service awards from the Arizona Alliance of Community Health Clinics, American Association of University Women, and Daughters of the American Revolution.

Dr. Sibrava remains deeply engaged in advancing the profession through active membership in the American Dental Association, Arizona Dental Association, American Academy of General Dentistry, American Academy of Implant Sciences, and American Association of Women Dentists. She also formerly served as adjunct faculty at A.T. Still University and Midwestern University, where she shares her passion for dentistry by teaching the doctors of tomorrow. Through clinical excellence, compassionate service, and academic leadership, Dr. Sibrava continues to make a meaningful impact on patients and the future of dental medicine.
