Throughout her career, Ms. Hudson has worked at military installations across Germany, Belgium, Italy, Spain, Portugal, Okinawa, Hawaii, Alaska, and Joint Base Lewis McChord in Washington State. Her unwavering dedication to soldiers and their families has also been recognized by the Lacey Police Department and the 42nd Military Police Brigade, where she was honored for her compassionate nature and willingness to assist. Over the years, she has been awarded 62 coins for excellence in service, a true testament to her remarkable impact and dedication to those she serves.

Outside of her work, she enjoys reading, traveling, and spending time with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. She has been married for 53 years to her husband Carmen Daryl Hudson.
