Menomonee Falls, WI – Dr. Ngozi Obi has been recognized by the Global Directory of Who’s Who for her outstanding contributions to Occupational medicine, Preventive medicine and Public health advocacy. Dr. Obi earned her Doctor of Medicine degree from Abia State University, Nigeria, and completed her Internal Medicine residency at George Washington University. She further advanced her expertise in Occupational Medicine and General Preventive Medicine and Public Health through residency trainings at the University of Colorado. Board-certified by the American Board of Preventive Medicine in both Occupational Medicine and Public Health & General Preventive Medicine, Dr. Obi is also a Fellow of the American College of Preventive Medicine and the American College of Occupational and Environmental Medicine. She is board-certified by the American Board of Lifestyle Medicine and her clinical practice prioritizes reduction and reversal of chronic disease risk factors. Her professional affiliations include the American College of Preventive Medicine, American College of Occupational and Environmental Medicine, American College of Lifestyle Medicine, American Cancer Society Cancer Action Network, Society of Occupational and Environmental Health Practitioners of Nigeria and the American Medical Association. She is a faculty at the Medical College of Wisconsin School of Medicine where she has been instrumental in early introduction of Occupational and Environmental medicine to medical school curricula. Throughout her academic and clinical career, Dr. Obi has contributed published works and has remained deeply committed to community outreach. From 2017 to 2021, she dedicated her time to teaching, community health screenings, and advancing better standards of care. She also served as a Women’s Health Center volunteer and a Free Clinic volunteer in Denver, Colorado from 2019 to 2021, supporting underserved populations with compassion and expertise. Balancing a fulfilling professional life with her role as a wife and mother of two daughters, Dr. Obi enjoys traveling, cooking, and designing clothes. Her dedication to prevention-focused medicine and community empowerment continues to positively impact patients and communities alike.
