As a leader in his field, Dr. Cunningham has performed over 500 heart transplants and spearheaded more than 60 clinical trials aimed at advancing cardiovascular care. His expertise includes mechanical circulatory support, valve surgery, transcatheter aortic valve replacement (TAVR), and aortic surgery, including transcatheter endovascular aortic repair (TEVAR).
In recognition of his outstanding achievements, Dr. Cunningham has received numerous accolades, including the "America’s Top Surgeon" title and an Excellence in Professionalism Award. He is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons, underscoring his commitment to advancing the surgical profession.
