Inverness, FL – The Global Directory of Who’s Who proudly recognizes Dr. Theodore L. Kazimiroff, Sr. for his distinguished career in education and literature. As a teacher and associate professor with the NYC Department of Education, Dr. Kazimiroff has dedicated his life to academic excellence and historical preservation.

Dr. Kazimiroff holds a Master’s degree in Science from C.W. Post and a Bachelor’s degree in Education from Herbert Lehman College. His contributions to education and literature have been widely acknowledged, earning him recognition from the American Library Association and a "Favorite" review from The New York Times.

Beyond the classroom, Dr. Kazimiroff is a renowned author, best known for his books “The Last Algonquin” and “If These Trees Could Talk”, both of which explore historical narratives and cultural heritage. His work has preserved the voices of the past and educated future generations on the rich history of indigenous and natural landscapes.

Dr. Ted also is being trained well by his mated pair of "Queen of Bavaria" parrots. These birds are members of a highly endangered species discovered in the Amazon basin by an early German explorer. As early as the 17th century these winged beauties were only a small tribe inhabiting one oxbow of the mighty Amazon River. It seems the small population was, even then, barely diverse enough to share DNA sufficient to perpetuate its own numbers. With the arrival of Man, and all his damages to the environment, the population shrank until at present they perch, if you will, on the very brink of extinction.

Only an additional number of individuals will be enough to provide the necessary genetic material to help them toward survival. Dr. Ted hopes to add any young he may breed to the remnant flock of survivors left in the Brazilian Amazon. Who knows? All contests have what we call "A tipping point." It is possible that the genetics provided by the young of his pair could just be that tipping point for a wonderful gift of nature, a beautiful species to live on.

Dr. Kazimiroff is also a proud veteran, with affiliations including the American Legion, the VFW (Veterans of Foreign Wars), and the Disabled American Veterans. His dedication to serving his country and supporting fellow veterans remains a core part of his legacy.

In his free time, Dr. Kazimiroff enjoys boating, fishing, scuba diving, wood carving, and sculpture—hobbies that reflect his appreciation for both nature and craftsmanship.

The Global Directory of Who’s Who is honored to recognize Dr. Theodore L. Kazimiroff, Sr. for his outstanding achievements in education, literature, and community service. His passion for history, education, and veteran advocacy exemplifies a lifelong commitment to knowledge and leadership.
