Maplewood, NJ – The Global Directory of Who’s Who proudly acknowledges the accomplishments of Dr. Peter Blumenthal, MD, a highly respected occupational physician, examiner, educator, speaker, and writer. Dr. Blumenthal earned his M.D. from the Medical School in Bonn, Germany, and went on to complete his Master of Public Health through the joint occupational medicine program at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey and Rutgers. Following his medical residency, he pursued successive fellowships in clinical pharmacology and pharmacokinetics while serving as an instructor of medicine at Tulane University and SUNY at Buffalo.
Dr. Blumenthal is a Diplomate of both the American Board of Preventive Medicine in Occupational Medicine and the American Board of Independent Medical Examiners. Nationally, he has demonstrated leadership as Speaker of the House of Delegates of the American College of Occupational and Environmental Medicine and as a member of its Executive Committee in 2004–2005. His dedication to advancing the field of occupational medicine is further reflected in his extensive contributions as an educator, lecturer, and writer.
Currently, Dr. Blumenthal holds an appointment as Clinical Assistant Professor of Medicine at Rutgers–New Jersey Medical School. In addition, he serves on the Bioethics Committee and as 233rd President of the Medical Society of New Jersey, continuing to provide his expertise, shaping ethical and professional standards in medicine. His recognition by the Global Directory of Who’s Who highlights his significant impact as a physician and thought leader in occupational medicine, as well as his ongoing commitment to education and professional service.
