Dr. Oberman earned her undergraduate degree in the Philippines before relocating to the United States in 1992. She later earned her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Utica College (now Utica University) in New York in 2010. As a Certified Geriatric Care Professional, she has developed extensive expertise in geriatric rehabilitation, wound care, orthotics and prosthetics management in close collaboration with orthotics and prosthetics providers, kinesiotaping, ACP Patterned Electrical Neuromuscular Stimulation (PENS), Craniosacral Therapy, and Myofascial techniques.
Throughout her distinguished career, Dr. Oberman has successfully managed complex orthopedic, neurological, cardiovascular, pulmonary, and dementia-related conditions while developing rehabilitation and patient care programs for healthcare organizations throughout California, Colorado, Kansas, and Missouri. Her collaborative approach with physicians, interdisciplinary healthcare teams, and orthotics and prosthetics specialists has helped optimize patient mobility, functional independence, and overall quality of life.
In addition to her clinical accomplishments, Dr. Oberman is a respected consultant, educator, mentor, and public speaker. She has trained healthcare professionals and students, helping elevate clinical standards and promote excellence in patient care. She is also an active member of the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA), reflecting her continued commitment to professional development and evidence-based practice.
