Dr. Heather Wahl Honored in Global Directory of Who's Who for Outstanding Contributions in Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgery

Her journey in medicine began and flourished at the University of Michigan, where she completed her residency and fellowship training. Following her fellowship in 2018, Dr. Wahl returned to the Toledo area, bringing her extensive knowledge and skillset to the local community she grew up in, Lambertville, Michigan.
Dr. Wahl's commitment to patient care encompasses all aspects of gynecologic health, guiding women through their reproductive and menopausal lifespans. Her accolades include the AAGL Award, recognition as Chief Resident, and designation as a Fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (ACOG). She has also been a Candidate for Toledo’s 20 under 40 and was honored as a 2020 Top Doctor. Her research contributions are noteworthy, particularly her current focus on vaginal dilation in female cancer survivors following pelvic radiotherapy, for which she was named a 2021 North American Menopause Society research fellow.
In addition to her clinical practice, Dr. Wahl is a member of the executive board of the Ohio Sexual Health Collaborative. With over a decade of experience, she specializes in minimally invasive gynecologic surgery, chronic pelvic pain management, and menopausal care, making her a vital asset to the broader medical community.
