Dr. Cleopatra T. Gordon-Pusey

Dr. Cleopatra T. Gordon-Pusey received her M.D. degree at Ross University School of Medicine in 2004. She completed her Residency in Family Medicine at the Stamford Hospital, Columbia Presbyterian College of Physicians & Surgeons in Stamford, Connecticut.  Dr. Gordon-Pusey is the Founder, CEO and President of Life Is Beautiful M.D.  She has two locations in the state of Florida.  The first location is at 222 South Flamingo Road, Pembroke Pines and the second office is at 1100 South 56th Avenue, Hollywood, Florida.

Life is Beautiful, M.D. provides excellence in medical and wellness care. The offices are full- service Family Practice offering full physical exams, school physicals, well women exam / Pap smears, EKG, allergy testing, telemedicine visits and on site lab draws. The company also specializes in a myriad of successful weight loss programs. Their Geriatric and Special needs component of Life is Beautiful, offers on site visits to persons who qualifies and resides in private homes, group homes, nursing homes, rehabilitation centers and Assisted Living Facilities.  Their motto is “Changing the World one patient at a time; by treating the Mind, Body and Soul.  

Dr. Gordon-Pusey is Board Certified by the American Board of Family Medicine.  On a yearly basis she volunteers to speak to over 400 plus students at elementary schools and middle schools. She gives Motivational speeches lasting 30+ minutes and then she serenades them with a song. Each encounter -goal is to motivate them - encourage them and remind them - that “all things are possible when you believe and that education is the equalizer.” 

In addition to volunteering Dr. Gordon-Pusey, for the past 10 years to present, has also served as an Adjunct Associate Professor at Ross University School of Medicine, St. Georges School of Medicine, Nova South Eastern School of Medicine and the American University of the Caribbean. Medical Students from first, second, third and fourth year of medical school rotates in her practice. These medical students receive daily didactic lectures, one on one teaching and hands-on experience with patients under the guidance of Dr. Gordon-Pusey. Majority of these students usually get excellent letters of recommendation; as a result, matriculating them to their residency of choice. Dr. Gordon-Pusey has been named as one of the Top 3 Primary Care Physicians in Pembroke Pines in 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020. Subsequently, she was awarded an incredible honor and named as one of the “Leading Physicians of the World.”  She is affiliated with Memorial Hospital West, where she is an attending physician for her patients. In her leisure time, she enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, gardening, singing and giving motivational speeches on her YouTube channel - Life is Beautiful MD. Dr. Gordon-Pusey believes that we are “God’s hands extended.” She continues to believe “Life is Beautiful,” and lives her life daily to reach as many people as possible so they too can reach the same conclusion.
