Biloxi, Mississippi – In October 2024, Corso, Inc. will proudly celebrate a remarkable 100 years in business, marking a century of commitment to excellence and innovation in wholesale distribution. Founded nearly a century ago by Liz’s father, Corso, Inc. has become a cornerstone of the Biloxi business community, thriving under Liz’s leadership and expanding its legacy with each generation.
Today, Liz continues to guide Corso, Inc. with a vision for long-term success, while her family plays an integral role in its daily operations. Her daughter oversees the company’s micro markets, store, casinos, and school operations, ensuring efficiency and quality service. Her middle son manages the technology sector, handling computers, cell phones, and radio operations. Another son leads wholesale product purchasing and logistics, keeping supply chains running seamlessly. Recently, her grandson, Jack Joachim IV, has joined the organization, already making a positive impact and contributing to its continued success.

She serves on the Peoples Bank Board and holds board member positions at Tulane Gulf Coast University, Merit Health Biloxi, Biloxi First, Gulf Coast Carnival Association, Ohr O’Keefe Museum, Salvation Army, and the Gulf Coast Business Council Masters Program and Legislative Committees. Her extensive community engagement reflects her dedication to the growth and prosperity of Biloxi and beyond.
