A: We cannot speak on behalf of any other “Who’s Who”. From our standpoint, we have been transitioning from traditional print publications to a comprehensive online registry. We prefer to see ourselves as the “Social Media” for professionals in all industries around the globe.

A: We have seen the negative comments online as well. The Wikipedia definition is certainly one that raises many concerns about the legitimacy of the industry. With that being said, we can assure you The Global Directory of Who’s Who is NOT a scam. We have been in business over 14 years now. Same name, same location!

We have an A+ rating with the Better Business Bureau. We have made major technological updates to our website over the last five years. Our platform gives our members a plethora of benefits to maximize their internet presence, increase their SEO (Search Engine Optimization), generate leads for themselves and/or their business, and track statistics of their page views. These are just some of the advantages our membership offer.

Unfortunately, there have been imitation, unscrupulous companies using “Who’s Who” in their titles. We are NOT affiliated with any of these companies. We remain steadfast in our mission to recognize all our members and businesses for their accomplishments to their industry. We are proud of the service we provide our valued members and will continue to do so for many years to come.

A: Traditionally, The Global Directory of Who’s Who published biographical profiles of professional men and women in the upper echelon of their respective fields. While this does give the individual recognition, exposure and networking capabilities, we felt we should add another element.

The “Top Business” section recognizes businesses all around the world that contribute to the advancements of global commerce. The individuals who represent these companies are people who don’t care about the personal accolades. However, it is more important to recognize the company, its product or services, and key employees.

This all new innovative section will give proper recognition to those businesses, small, mid-size or large, who fuel our economy, and contribute to the local, national and worldwide marketplace.

A: There are several different ways you can become a member. You can be nominated by a colleague or peer. You can register for consideration on our website.

A. There are many different reasons why people want to be listed on our directory. For some, its simply the prestige of being recognized. Others use the listing to create or add to their internet presence, generate leads for their business, create networking opportunities, improve their SEO (Search Engine Optimization), or quite simply to increase their exposure.

With more people than ever using Google and other search engines to gather information, The Global Directory of Who’s Who can be a very powerful third-party endorsement for you and/or your business profile. The combination of our longevity and state of the art platform typically gives our members favorable rankings on searches containing their name.
